Zeroing my new Scope for 3-Gun

I picked up a Primary Arms 1-6X Scope with ACSS Reticle "Advanced Combined Sighting System". I found this reticle to be very easy to use so far. The grouping I achieved in this picture is outstanding in my opinion. However, I did miss the target completely for 1 of my 8 shots fired. But for my 16" rifle, I like it.

2013 Double Tap Championships First Person Shooter Videos

The 2013 Double Tap Championships in Wichita Falls Texas was 13 stages of pure adrenaline. The 2013 match had the theme for Men In Black, MIB. So all of the stages had something to do with the movie series. This is one my most favorite matches to shoot where speed really pays off if you can turn it up. Its also one of the more difficult matches to film due to the barricades and stage variety. So in this series of videos below I have broken them down into the First Person Shooter view or FPS, (this is the view that I see as I shoot). GSG (German Sport Gunworks) & Sig Sauer 1911 22LR Slide Disassembly and Firing Pin Safety Removal

In these videos I go over the dis-assembly and reassembly of the slide of the Sig Sauer ATI / GSG 1911 22Lr pistol clone. Mainly a breakdown of the "bolt" and its components. Periodically you may need to clean the bolt assembly and this will help with the process. Additionally I will go over the firing pin safety or the "series 80" components and how to defeat them. Why defeat the firing pin safety? There is no real good reason other than to perhaps to "clean up" your trigger pull and lighten it. Sometimes these extra moving parts of the firing pin safety / Series 80, cause more friction with the additional moving parts. By eliminating them it can be possible to get a better trigger. Aerial Gunnery - Shooting from a Helicopter

Paradise Helicopters and AR15Target.com bring together Aerial Gunnery where shooters get to fly in an MD-500 Helicopter. For my experience I drove to Temple Texas and got to ride in the front of the Helicopter with the pilot for 15 minutes while another shooter sat in one of the rear seats and engaged steel targets while we flew. After 15 minutes had passed it was my turn to take the gunners seat. My son was lucky enough to take a spot in the front seat while I shot. A forth person occupied the other rear seat and served as a safety officer and kept a close eye on the shooter to keep everyone safe. Shooting from a moving vehicle is difficult. Shooting from a helicopter is very difficult. The difficulty is compounded with the anxiety of actually flying in a helicopter, dealing with wired communication, wind, rain, etc... It adds a level of stress that I have not ever encountered. BUT the fun factor is so worth it. Shooting in stressful situations shows your weaknesses for sure. As I always say, "get out of your comfort zone and do a shooting match sometime". You will find shortcomings you never knew you had.

Beta Mag C-MAG 100 Round Drum Magazine From KCI - Review, Disassembly & Cleaning

Tossing Rounds down range is easier than ever with this Korean Beta Mag knock off from KCI. I found my KCI magazine to run very well with standard brass cased 55 grain ammo. However, running 62g or larger ammo, I found that the dual drum appears not have enough internal space to accommodate the longer round of the heavier bullets. The longer rounds tend to rub the front of the magazine and cause the magazine to jam. All in all, if you are looking for a drum magazine and do not have the cash to drop on the C-Mag. The KCI might be a nice option at about 1/3 the price tag.
