Jim Clark Custom Gold Cup 1911 45ACP

I had the pleasure of running across a Jim Clark Custom 45ACP a while back.  If you're not familiar with Jim Clark, he was an old school gun smith that was fine tuning surplus GI 1911's well before Ed Brown and Bill Wilson came onto the scene.  Below are a few photos of this gun and the craftsmanship that went into it.



















The trigger has had some metal added to help reduce the take up.
